OK, I would have searched the site but that function is apparently currently disabled.:( I'm back among the ranks of moped owners with a pretty mint 1970 Honda PC50 my Dad recently gave me. I'm almost done cleaning it up and such. So far I've emptied and cleaned the gas tank, carb and fuel line. Next I'm changing the tranny oil and putting in a new plug. What I need now is the method to reattach the throttle cable to the carb in order to ensure the spring inside returns the throttle to the idle position. I am also looking for a shop manual for the PC50.

I got a nuts and bolts kit for the pc50 and have started replacing them. Alot of the screws were philips screws and they had to be cracked with a set of vice grips.
Now they are a standerd 10mm head. I also free'd up the brakes. It did not want to run cold with out the choke on but once it warmed up it ran great. I am going to clean up the carb inside and out and degrease the engine. I was not going to do anything with this bike other then get it running and sell it, but now I think that I might start cleanning it up and start restoring it until it sells.
